I have been an NLP Practitioner for over 30 years, and an NLP Trainer for almost 25.

The creation/invention/discovery of The Hümmo Method™ is a bit of a story. I wasn't out to achieve this specifically, but it came out organically over many years. 

Here's how it went: In 1998 a friend suggested I see the "energy healer" she had been telling me about. When I asked her why she rolled her eyes and said, "Just go...he'll amuse you..." 

I was super skeptical, curious, but also a bit nervous. What would 'the healer' do or say?? Would he sense some hidden illness in me? I sat in the waiting room with a bunch of old presumably sick people.

After a few minutes, a calm unassuming guy came into the waiting room and motioned me into a room with a massage table set up in the middle. He said almost nothing and I laid down where I thought he had indicated. He put his hands on my shoulders for a few minutes, then moved then beside my ears.

What happened next is hard to explain except that a feeling of deep peace descended. I was present in the room but also somehow calmly detached at the same time. The feeling lasted for weeks after the session,  and every time he came back to town, I had another 'treatment' from him with the same deep sense of peace and well-being magically occurring. 

A few months later, probably on my 3rd or 4th time seeing him,  I asked "What is you're doing when you put your hands on my shoulders?"

He gazed at me intently for about 15 seconds and then said, "I can't explain it...but you should teach it...."

(How he expected me to teach what he couldn't explain is a story for another time...)

Over the years, I have had over 100 sessions with this healer. I have probably sent hundreds of people who have probably referred thousands more.

Here's a remarkable thing - even the most stubbornly skeptical people confessed there was something going on...they couldn't always put words to it, but they also couldn't deny that he did... something that created a deep abiding sense of peace within them. 

So sometime in 2013, about 15 years after I met him, I asked if I could use NLP to model his healing techniques. He replied, "If it helps people, then yes."

From 2013 to about 2021, I had so many encounters with him but these were different. Rather than just being a client, I sat with him for many hours and heard dozens of stories of instant healings he had done that were nothing short of miraculous. BUT, he took no credit for them - unrelentingly humble,  he simply had come across his gift while overcoming Stage IV cancer himself after having been given 3 weeks to live by his oncologist. 

As this study went on I realized I was incapable of even understanding let alone reproducing his technique although I spent a zillion hours with him "asking the same questions and getting the same answers..." as he would teasingly describe my trying to figure out what he was really doing; trying to "crack the code".

Fast forward to mid-pandemic in 2021: A series of random coincidences and experiences resulted in my having that same sort of peace I had experienced with him.  Excited, I experimented further and came to the realization I had found a way to get the results of energy healing without being an energy healer!

And it has been profound.

I have taught approximately 100 people how to use the Method to help overcome mental, spiritual, emotional and even physical issues and the results have been nothing short of astounding. 

The Hümmo Method™ is the Patent Pending technique by which 'the rest of us', meaning non-energy healers, can coach others AND ourselves to get similar results as if we were 'working with energy'. The difference is we don't have to have that unicorn-like quality of feeling energy or understanding any of that stuff. (but even if you do, The Hümmo Method™ will work for you!)
